First, make sure your computer has the latest version of Quicktime, per the program's requirements.
What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what format and resolution is it?
If you aren't sure, open the file in the free downloads Media Info or G Spot and list its resolution, frame rate and, above all, its audio and video codec.
MOV files come in thousands of different flavors!
