Premiere Pro CC, any updates installed
System: Intel Core i5 3210M, 8 DDR3 Ram, Nvidia GT 640M 2 GBVRAM, 1000GB HDD
It's this error message:
"Adobe Premiere Pro doesn't work anymore.
The program is not correctly executed because of a problem. The program will be closed. Once a solution is available, you will be informed."
["Das Programm wird aufgrund eines Problems nicht richtig ausgeführt. Das Programm wird geschlossen und Sie werden benachrichtigt, wenn eine Lösung verfügbar ist."]
I installed it 3 days ago, then it immediately crashed. After I made a driver update of my graphics card, it ran until today. Tonight it crashed again after opening, before I can start anything.
There isn't another software running and there are no codecs installed.
Sorry not Minutes! It crashed after few SECONDS.
I'm having the same trouble with my Mac laptop:
Processor: 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Software/OS: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
I have all current updates.
Source footage: H.264 in a .mov container from GoToMeeting recording
No Error message...the application just shutsdown after I open or create a new project.
What were you doing when the problem occurred? Only web browser (Firefox) was open at the same time with about 4 tabs open.
Has this ever worked before? Nope
What other software are you running? Firefox and Finder
Do you have any third-party effects or codecs installed? Nope
Are you using Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration? Nope
Does the problem only happen with your final output, with previews, or both? I can't open the program...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for visiting the forum and sorry for your troubles. This problem is usually due to unsupported video drivers for your video card (GPU). Also, certain computers have more than one GPU, so you have to make sure those are also updated.
My advice is if you are running an NVIDIA card, update to the latest drivers.
If you also have an Intel HD Graphics GPU installed in your computer, you need to update those drivers, as well.
Here is a link to the downloads for the Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=22605

After updating video drivers, please restart the computer and test Premiere Pro for stability.
Please let us know what happens after updating your drivers.

I installed the HD Graphics Driver and Premiere CC works! Thank you! ;-) I think that was the problem. When the problem comes back, I tell you! Until now, CC works stable.
You're very welcome, Linda! Happy editing....
I guess for MAC computers there aren't any updates for the grpahics driver. I have the latest update for MAC which should include any new drivers.
So I guess that means I can't use Premiere Pro on my computer...total bummer!
Any other suggestions to fix this for a MAC?
Premiere CC crashes on Mac OSX 10.7.5 Mac Lion 2 x 2,4 GHz Quad Core Intel and Graphic Card ATI Radeon HD 5770. Will there be any new release of Premiere CC which will be compatible with this Graphic Card? Otherwise I must freeze the computer with Premiere 6?
