AMD vs Nvidia GPU for Adobe CC

      Hey all,

I'm planning to build a new editing workstation in the next month for use with Adobe CC and some 3D work (Cinema4D and 3DS Max).

I pretty much have all the parts picked out. It's going to be a 4770k haswell system. 32GB RAM. My plan was to get the GTX 760 as the GPU.

However, it looks like AMDs latest line of GPUs just got announced. It looks like the R9 280X is a similar pricepoint to the GTX 760 ($300 vs $260), but it seems to beat it in almost every gaming benchmark so far.

Do we have any idea of how this will translate over for Adobe CC and 3D work? I know that typcially the Nvidia cards are better optimized for Adobe programs, but wasn't sure if that was still the case.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.
