Need to create black line border around each page's trim box

Hello all. I am new to the forum and would appreciate some help.

I have scanned around 100 different documents into a single pdf file. I am using Acrobat X Pro for Mac.

Each page is a different size, all of which are smaller than 8 1/2 x 11 (Letter), so I have used the crop tool to make every page into Letter size, for uniformity.

However, I now need to create a black line border around each page's trim box so it is evident what the original page size was when it was scanned.

I don't see that Acrobat has a native method of accomplishing this, so I assume this would require a javascript.

I am very grateful to anyone who can help me with this. I don't know how this can be done, but if it is possible to have it as a layered element that can optionally be printed or not printed, that would be the best for my purposes.

      Thanks again!
