I noticed that when importing video and audio files to CS5 and placing them on a timetime they sometimes have different lengths. I have not found a reason for this and it's making my projects hard to handle.
In more detail: I have a short (2min) clip created with Premiere CS5. It is exported from Premiere as .m2v and .mpa -files. I create a new Encore project (DVD), drag in the m2v/mpa files and drag them to a new timeline. Now in the timeline it shows that the audio is slightly longer than the video. When I repeat that (bring in about 30 more clips), the total audio length is getting longer and longer than video and at the end the audio and video are pretty out of sync. Also, after about 20 imported clips Encore becomes very slow, taking a lot of long pauses before responding to user actions.
I have previously used the same m2v/mpa clips with other DVD authoring programs and never had any issues with audio length being different from video length.
I'm pretty new with Encore CS5 so I may just have missed something crucial.
