Are ther any gaps in the video timeline?
I will check as soon as I get back home. Right now I have to rush off.
Thanks for the quick answer I will let you know.
No gaps no. Not a single gap.
Any idea what may be going on?
I posted this in the other thread:
The only problem is that it seems to cut about twenty minutes of video footage off the end. The audio is fine and has the whole hour on.
What does Encore say are the properties for the video and audio length?
Oh yeah I posted a picture. Take a look. I need to close the other thread down, sorry.
Yes, sorry; I had not seen the other screenshot.
So when you play the movie on a DVD player, it stops at the point in time indicate by your screenshot or the short video?
Any chapter markers or similar in this timeline?
Did you use the same Encore project to import this new export? I'm thinking Encore has a bad version in the cache or similar.
What I am doing is this
-Selecting the first half of the show on my premier pro cs6 window, the footage is HD
-Then I select mpeg2-dvd from the export settings panel
-I then send the file over to media encoder and encode the file
-When the file is done I am left with this...
As you can see the end part of the movie clip is missing.
No chapter markers.
The DVD now plays all the way through.
What do you make of that Stan? Even though the movie clip is displayed as a smaller file it still plays all the way to the end of the DVD in perfect sync. Strange.
What is the part 1 and 2 you are referring to? Are both parts together one hour or two?
No idea what accounts for the results.
What are you viewing the file sizes in? Are you Mac or PC?
Must have been some sort of glitch.
I always make an iso. Check that on the pc then burn to dvd.
