Another minor annoyance inPhotoshop CC: for some reason the black toggle-able color swatch in the tool pallet won't stay rich black, but degrades to about 85% charcoal grey, without warning. I open a file, start drawing with the brush/path tool, using what starts out as black but at some point, quietly drops to dark grey. So I have to go back and refresh it regularly. It's not a horrendous problem, but an annoying quirk, and it's probbaly due to something I'm doing accidentally. But I'd still like to stop it. Anybody know how?
I suspect that you inadvertently pick up a color.
But resetting the colors with the single key shortcut is easily done anyway, I guess.
If you alt-click while using the paint brush, you do sample color... Just hit "D" to get the default black and white colors.
