Securing "some" form fields but allowing other fields to be edited

    WidEyedWorld

      Hello,

I'm new to creating forms and I have everything done except I'm stuck when it comes to wanting to restrict access to most of the form while allowing editing for a couple of fields.

I have a contract that I use and created a form for I can easily fill them in. However, when it comes to the area for people to type their name and tile, as well as the signature line and the date line the issues is If I secure the document to not allow changes, they are unable to fill in anything.

I've searched the forums and Adobe Help, it looks like you can make a form "flat" while allowing the typewriter tool to be functional-however every topic is about converting a "flat" form to a fillable form. And I'm not even sure if this is the best way to accompish what I'm looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you,

      ~Vanessa
