No Error Checking in [source path] folders?

    Nomad2000
I have added my main source code library folder to a project as a [source code] path node in the project. I am able to see all my files and edit them as expected.

However, when I make an intentional error in one of the source files, it is not compiled and the error is not found.

As a test, I tried USING the class in question in my main program. Now the error was found because the code was required to build the project.

Is there any way to have classes in a source path folder compiled so that they can be checked for errors even if they are not used in the project explicitly?

p.s. I have Build Automatically turned on throughout the above.
