frogmike Oct 16, 2013 7:15 PM (in response to JSS1138)Thanks so much, this helps cure my woes!
Now the only problem is... I have to do this every time for every single clip I want to split the channels? Something that has been on default for CS6.
Why did they do this? Is there a way to just make it like it was in CS6? This is hardly intuitive :/
Thanks

JSS1138 Oct 16, 2013 7:16 PM (in response to frogmike)You can do option 3 on a batch of clips by selecting them all in the bin.

frogmike Oct 16, 2013 7:36 PM (in response to JSS1138)Yeah I figured that one out, I also changed it so that I get a single track with both left and right channels from the original left channel. To me, this still sounds stupid and very unintuitive, what were they thinking?!
There doesn't seem to be an automatic way of enabeling this by default either.
I wish I could have just kep CS6

5. Re: Changing from single stereo audio track to two mono tracks
Ann Bens Oct 17, 2013 1:28 AM (in response to frogmike)Before importing the files set Default Audio Tracks: Stereo Media to Mono in your Preferences.
This will give you two mono tracks.

frogmike Oct 17, 2013 9:13 AM (in response to Ann Bens)Thanks I'll try that as well.
Luckily I was able to manage to download CS6 again and will simply continue using that. I'm not putting up with PP CC's BS changes.
