Help!
Last week I decided to become an Adobe BC Premium partner. Yay!
I was sent an email - with a discount code - to my business address from another BC partner.
When I tried to use the code with my Adobe ID I received a message telling me that my business email was different from my Adobe ID email and the code wouldn't apply.
As I wanted to get to grips with BC I decided to simply create another Adobe ID and sort things out later.
The payment and registration process went through smoothly.
I then wanted to access 2 webBasic sites in my paid-for BC Partner Portal, that I'm currently developing in BC using my free Creative Cloud allocation.
One of these sites needs to become a webMarketing site and was a reason why I decided to become a BC partner.
I discovered that there seems to be no way to access my webBasics sites because they are on a different BC Portal which is accessed using my original Adobe ID.
Reading Adobe's online help I was directed to have a "live chat" with an Adobe agent who would help me to consolidate my Adobe IDs. Hoorah!
I did this earlier and the Adobe agent told me that it was not possible, and the information contained in the online help was incorrect.
I then decided to change my email password in the settings of my paid for BC Partner Portal to see if that resolved the problem.
The net result is that cannot log on to my paid-for BC Partner Portal at all now.
Somebody please tell me that I haven't wasted a load of cash that this situation can be resolved.
I have deadlines approaching and I need to complete the sites that I have in development.
Any thought or suggestions would be most welcome. Thank-you.
Hi Derek,
can you please open a case with our support team through the Contact us form on the site? They will need your full details (Partner ID for both accounts) and will be able to help you out.
