    Interactive PDF Pause Button?

    handsdeb2 Level 1

I'm creating a PDF from an InDesign CC file with about 100 photos. I exported to view full screen mode with pages to flip every 5 seconds. I also included back and next buttons, which work fine. But is there a way to set it up so the viewer can switch to advancing the pages manually, or to pause the slide show? Pause does not exist as a button action in InDesign, but I'm wondering if there is a workaround.

It is all in Acrobat, and the users familiarity with Acrobat.

Anyone with Acrobat can page through a document using mouse or keyboard commands even if automatic paging is selected. Page Up and Page Down; Tab and Shift+Tab; Enter; Spacebar... there are many ways to run it manually. But mostly that is a matter for Acrobat to handle.

Also, have a look at Acrobat > Preferences > Full Screen > and you can turn on Show Navigation Bar.
