    Converting RGB to CMYK

      When exporting a doc with CMYK graphics and text but RGB images, I have selected convert to dest (preserve numbers). It does that but it also converts 100% blk text and changes the numbers of non profiled colors.

      The description of the profile says these are to be preserved. I have all my setting synced in Bridge to Gracol. It converts the iamges and embedds the profile as I have selected. But I do not want the text or other colors

      to change.

          I assume you are checking the numbers in AcrobatPro's Output Preview? Output Preview uses a simulation profile that could possibly show an additional output conversion if there's a profile conflict.

           

          Try using a PDF/X preset, either X-4 or X-1a should work—the Output Intent Profile will automatically be set as the Acrobat Simulation profile. Something like this:
