av8ercfi Oct 18, 2013 10:03 AM (in response to av8ercfi)It's not the mouse. I fixed this once before but it was over a year ago and I recently had to re-install Windows.

av8ercfi Oct 18, 2013 1:12 PM (in response to Stan Jones)The A picture looks like it. It forms around the point of the arrow, not beside it. It forms about one second after pressing the left mouse button.

Stan Jones Oct 18, 2013 2:30 PM (in response to av8ercfi)I don't think it has anything to do with your mouse or mouse drivers, etc. The mouse pointer changes to this when something is happening on your computer that stops you from taking any action until that background or other activity is done. This is probably what anyone sees when the timeline is not responsive.

av8ercfi Oct 20, 2013 7:01 AM (in response to Stan Jones)It's not just in Adobe. It is everywhere. It happens too fast to be someting in the background.

9. Re: Crazy mouse stuff
av8ercfi Oct 20, 2013 11:53 AM (in response to av8ercfi)Okay. It is a function of my Wacom Graphire tablet. Something in the new drivers for this tablet adds this stuff when the mouse is in pen mode. I will let Wacom solve this or look for another tablet, one with a mouse and pen like my Graphire. I prefer the absolute location of the pen over the relative positioning of a mouse.
THanks for the help.

av8ercfi Oct 24, 2013 7:28 AM (in response to av8ercfi)Update. Problem solved. It is a Wimdows thing. It was located in PEN AND TOUCH in control panel. In pen options I had to turn off the press and hold function.
Thanks for the input.
