I just recently switched over from Final Cut Pro to Premiere Pro CC and am struggling a bit to find my normal workflow within the interface. Does anyone know how to set a "chapter marker" on a single clip as one would've done in Final Cut to signify a usable time period from a clip? If you're unsure of what I am talking about, I mean placing one long marker on the clip itself (not on the timeline) while watching it play out. I primarily cut music videos and am always looking for "big moments" within performance takes and I like to mark up the clips as they play out. Any assistance on this is greatly appreciated!
I sometimes create either opacity or volume keyframes as markers.
Instead of 'marking' it, set In/Out points and add that section to the sequence. You can then load that sequence into the Source Monitor and edit from those selects, KEM roll style.
