I have a document with running headers where the text I want in the headers is not the same text that appears in the body. I've added the header text in the body and set the style to 0.1pt and white so it won't show up. The headers work, but with align to baseline on, the header text is getting its own line and creating a space where there shouldn't be one. Is there a way to set the text to hidden, or to adjust the leading - or should I be doing the headers a different way altogether? I'm using CS5.5.
You can use a separate frame, set to non-printing in the Attributes. I usually use big red type when doing that so it's really obvious.
