Hi there, I am about to start an indesign document that contains text and tables and I need the PDF to be WCAG 2.0 Compliant. Does Indesign have the capability to do this? Or would it require a large amount of post production processing in Acrobat? Im looking for the easiest, fastest most effective way to acheive this? Can it even be done given WCAG 2.0 is predominantly HTML related?
The same operations that make an InDesign file Section 508 compliant would tend to satisfy the WCAG accessibility requirements. Text frames that flow from page to page. Use of paragraph and character styles to a complete degree. Alt-tagging all graphics. InDesign is very good at this sort of thing. Now, whether the user knows what to do or not do is another matter!
