Lightroom 5 still presents a problem for the Nikon D4. Pictures are rendered significantly darker than the original shot. The histogram confirms the degrading of each picture. And the visual difference is un-mistakable. Have talked with Adobe twice. They had no solution. When I use the Nik Software View 2 the pictures are rendered perfectly. Why does Adobe say they have fixed the problem when they have not? The Adobe web site suggestes Lightroom 5 is now compatible with the Nikon D4.
I'm guessing you have Active D-Lighting enabled in the camera. Please try turning that off when shooting new images. (For existing images that you've already shot, just increase the Exposure slider.)
