I have downloaded the trial version of Edge Animate. It installed with no errors. Every time I try to launch the app, it takes several minutes to launch. When it does I get the spinning beach ball every minute or two. The app will hang for another minute or two, then I can work, then the process repeats itself.
I can get around this by unplugging my computer's network connection, but that is not a viable solution when working on creating web content. I saw the issues with the proxy server and authentication servers, but I never get the msg that the Adobe Application Manager cannot connect. I'm not sure if that is the same issue.
Does this have to do with this being a trail version?
Are you behind a firewall at all? It's likely that the error with the Adobe Application Manager got fixed, so you're getting the error now even when the Adobe Application Manager is working correctly. We're actively working on a workaround, so stay tuned for more info...
