Hi LoganCallWeb,

You can try reinstalling Adobe application manger. Go to HD>library>application support>adobe>caps and rename the caps folder. After renaming this folder, go to USER library>application support>adobe>OOBE and rename OOBE folder as well and install Adobe application manager from below link. it should work fine.

I don't have the creative cloud desktop manager installed yet, so there are not files to change. I have yet to install any CC apps, due to this problem.

I see that the link you provided is related; but if you look at what it says there, there is nothing about actually installing the creative cloud desktop client or the problem I am having with it "failing to initialize" during installation.

I just removed old Adobe files from my Utilities folder. Didn't realize I had any in there, it was probably from trying to install this and the application manager. Anyway, it's working now.

I tried all of these steps without success, but what worked for me was to uninstall "Adobe ID Credentials" in the Adobe Cloud Cleaner program.  So try this and see if this works for you too!

Reinstalling the Adobe Application manager helped me too...

I searched the tones of forums and at last i installed the latest Adobe Application Manager and now every thing is working fine

This did not work for me.

I'm trying to run my Adobe After effects free trial.

When I try that I get the error saying I need the Application Manager.

When I try to get the Application Manager, I get the failed to initialize error.

Macbook Pro Mid 2012

2.5 GHZ Intel Core i5

8gb 1600 MHZ DDR3

Intel HD Graphics 4000

Please help. It's very important I know that I can run this program
