I`ve been recently switching from Avid to CS6 and I have been having trouble with the ripple edit tool and relatiobship to sync lock.
In Avid when you perform a ripple edit to a clip, if there is any music/sfx audio beds underneath the edit, it will split that track to push all content downstream to maintain sync. (When sync locks are turned on).
is there anyway to replicate this behavior in Premiere?
I don't believe so. You will have to move the relevant clips to new tracks manually.
