You could theoretically have the photographer set up his/her own Adobe
ID and use that to create the folio. Then share it with the bride/groom
through an Adobe ID that they would set up. Sounds harder than it is.

DavidSalahi Oct 26, 2013 2:26 PM (in response to BobLevine)Bob,
Thanks for the reply. So, it sounds like there is some work required on the part of the recipients in either case. With the Content Viewer approach each recipient would have to download the viewer first. Then, to distribute the folio could I or the photographer just email it to the recipients?
And in the case of the Adobe ID, each recipient would have to create an ID.
The first approach would seem to be more convenient for the recipients (and the process needs to be convenient for them or they may not bother). The recipients would need to download something in any case. It's just that this is a two-step process: 1) get the viewer 2) get the content.

3. Re: Limited Distribution of iPad Apps w/o Apple Store?
BobLevine Oct 26, 2013 2:49 PM (in response to DavidSalahi)No. You cannot email a folio.
Like I said...it sounds way harder than it is. Each person involved
needs an Adobe ID and the ACV on their device. They sign into the viewer
with that ID and the rest is pretty much automatic. Once you share the
folio from the photographer's account to the customers account, the
customer launches the ACV and they'll get a pop up message telling them
the folio is available to download.
There is no easier or cheaper way to do this. It takes minutes and it's
free.

elcaliban Nov 7, 2013 5:45 AM (in response to BobLevine)Bob, I was wondering if you might be able to read my post, and give me your own feedback on it, because I'm frustrated and since you've answered this similar question here, I thought you might be able to give me more insight into what is bothering me about the DPS sharing process. I made the post under the title, "Sharing Folio With Someone Via Email." If you search for it in the forum, you'll find it. I need the process explained to me, I'd like the process to be explained in detail on the site outside the forum, and lastly, I think the process needs to be reviewed and possibly changed. Perhaps you can give me your thoughts on my concerns.
