Hi.. I am having problems knowing how to update an existing
XML object. For example:
public var carsXML:XML = new XML(
<car id="1" make="Acura" model="RSX"/>
<car id="2" make="Honda" model="Accord"/>
<car id="3" make="Toyota" model="Camry"/>
This XML is set as a dataprovider for a datagrid. The user
can click on an item and update the MAKE or MODEL of the selection.
After the user make the changes, I need to take these changes and
update the XML with the changes when the user clicks on the SAVE
How would I update the selected node of the XML only?
You'll be imitating the techniques of the second article,
only you'll be dealing with XML instead of JSON.
Essentially, you'll be listening for change/update events
that XMLListCollection, or any instance of ListView fires, when any

server and do whatever you want to do with them.
I'm sorry but I'm not sure what's I need to do after reading
the article. Basically, what I need is a way to update a specific
node in the XMLListCollection. Is there a way to grab the target
node, update it, and then set it back to the collection to save the
