It is possible to set certain fields to read-only (but not by right-clicking), but you'd have to do this in Acrobat before enabling the PDF for use with FormsCentral (or otherwise). Post again if you'd like more information, but provide more details about how the form is intended to be used.
We are a software developer and we are considering using a PDF form created using FormsCentral to send license key & other information to channel partners.
The idea is that we provide some information parts of the form and they provide other parts of the form.
When we complete section 1 of the form, we would then like to lock those fields from being edited accidentally. We would then email the form to the channel partner for them to complete the remaining fields and email it back to us.
We would complete further information and send it back to them.
We are making their section to complete as page 1 so when they open up the form they just commence supplying data we need.
I am new to FormsCentral and PDF.
Do you have access to Acrobat as well?
Yes, purchased Acrobat Pro XI a few days ago.
