          I'm sorry, Sharilyn, but we can't help you unless you tell what is happening. Start with:

           

          * What version of InDesign?

          * Are you on Macintosh or Windows?

          * Did it work before, and then stop working; or has it never worked?

          * If it worked before, did you do something (update your computer, update InDesign, etc.) before it stopped working

          * If it has never worked, tell us how you got your copy of InDesign and how you tried to install it (DVD, copying from another computer, download, or Creative Cloud subscription)?
