    3D packshots

    OC_JACK_24

      Hi all,

I've been playing around with 3D (true 3D, not an illusion) text in Photoshop and I am very impressed so far. What I want to be able to do is make a 3D packshot of a DVD case that I can spin around and see all sides of it.

Is Photoshop able to do this and if so where can I find tutorial on how to achieve this?

I've been attempting it myself and I'm nearly there I'm just obviously missing something.

      Thanks in advance.

      Jack.

All you need is a model of a jewel case/ DVD tray/ sleeve in a suitable 3D format and import it in PS. Check the usual sites like TurboSquid.

Hi, thank you very much for your advice. Wasnt aware of that site which is great.

I actually already have a 3D model of a DVD case, I'm just trying to figure out how to effectively add an image to each side of it. Is it a material on the extrusion layer? Or is there any where that shows how to do this kind of thing step by step? I've searched the net but for some reason have not yet found anything useful.

            Thanks in advance.
