Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with your Premiere Elements 11?
Have you checked Premiere Elements 11 and Mac permissions.

I have the same problem since the new update. On the QuickTime website it says that the new updated Quicktime is included in the OS update. What can we do, i really need my Elements 11 working....??
It would appear the issue is not isolated.
I am in no position to know just how much support you can get from Adobe since Premiere Elements 11 is no longer the current version on these Mac Store purchased products.
You could try Adobe Chat and see how far you can get. The following link typically proves helpful for that purpose.
