Sure it is. All you got to do is embed that code in the document, via Tools
Any code that is located there will be executed when the file is opened.
With Acrobat Professional you can add and edit document level scripts.
With Acrobat Standard you can add page open actions scripts, but have no UI to access document level scripts. With a little additional scripting one can code these scripts to run only once when the page is first opened.
It is possible to add doc-level scripts in Acrobat Standard, using a script from the console. But it's not possible to edit it, as George correctly pointed out, but you can remove it or replace it with new code.
