Is Transmit turned on? Check the wrench under the Program Monitor.
Yes, Transmit is enabled.
I tried turning it off and I still have the same problem.
Is BM playback enabled Preferences/Playback ?
Can someone please help me with this? Are there step by step instructions on how to setup Premiere CC with an Intensity Pro? Is there a system setting I am overlooking? It's very embarrassing when a client wants to preview something on the monitor and I have to tell them it's not working.
Something tells me that the drivers are incompatible with your OS and Premiere Pro CC. OS X Lion might be the problem. Anyone else on Lion and using BMD products with Premiere Pro CC?
I forgot to mention that, on the advice from a tech at BlackMagic, I upgraded to Mountain Lion.
If I use the Arri sequence preset, I can get the card to send a signal to the external monitor and mixer but only at 1080p. I'm working with 720p footage. The Blackmagic Media Express software also says there is no hardware installed which I know is false since it works perfectly fine in both FCP and CS6.
Am I the only person that has this problem? I can't find a solution anywhere.
I have figured out that if I open a CS6 project in Premiere CC, a signal will go through the Blackmagic card but if I make a new sequence in CC, it doesn't work anymore.
You might have to update the blackmagic drivers. So, check the drivers and update them. Please uninstall and re-install Premiere pro cc once the drivers are updated and then check.
I have updated the BM drivers and uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere CC. The problem isn't fixed.
Here is what happens now:
If I take a clip from my bin and drag it to the sequence icon in the lower right hand corner of the bin to create a new sequence, I can get a signal to my monitor and speakers. I can change codecs, add clips, change from 1080p to 720p or adjust whatever setting for that sequence and everything works fine. Now the problem arises when I create a new sequence and then add footage. In that instance, no signal goes to my BM card.
If I was starting a new project and that's what I had to do to make sure new sequences went to the monitor, then I would be conscious of that. But I already have 2 Premiere CC projects that I need to send to my monitor for color correction or for client previews and no matter what I do, I cannot get a signal to the monitor. After Effects CC still won't go to the external monitor no matter what I try. Final Cut Pro and CS6 are still working flawlessly.
