Welcome to the forums. Have you tried installing the 7.1 update for premiere pro cc?. If not please try to update and then restart your machine and check.
I will try this again. Yesterday the 7.1 update completed on my system. I had to roll back the OS to ML ,so I will need to reinstall Maverick today, then I can test again. Thanks for the suggestion. I will report the results.

NVIDIA is working on releasing a updated driver that will give CUDA support for various cards including the 4800 on systems running Mac OS 10.9.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
I noticed the problem the day Mavericks was released. I'm running the CS6 with a Nvidia Quadro FX4800 as well. I see this post was created some time back now. Does anyone know if Nvidia will be releasing an update soon?
No update from Nvidia yet, so no Cuda. However newer versions of PPCC now have Open CL support available for the Quattro FX4800 under Mavericks. It works about as well as cuda. This is how I am running now. So , don't update to Mavericks ,unless you have Premiere Pro CC version 7.2.1
Otherwise wait for Nvidia cuda update.
