[Ready to Build]  Need help on parts configuration

    Abstrak_Media

I plan to purchase these parts tomorrow and I'm a super conscious buyer so I'm over here researching like crazy driving my self nuts. I'm pretty tech savvy and I work on networks / mainframes for a living. I know how to build a PC its just the choosing of parts thats nerve wrecking. My budget is 2k (USD). So I've come up with two builds

      First Build is 4770k

I need some motherboard suggestions for this build. I've been researching and I'm leaning towards Asus or Asrock. Also I was thinking of beefin up my storage drives and raid 0 the 1TB then have a third for overnight back up or is it better to just raid 5? Also is it worth it to cough a little more for the GTX 780 since the price drop? If possible would like to keep this build under 1500 -1750 max.

I plan to add up to 64GB is this build worth the extra money. I do medium to heavy editing with vfx so I'm thinking the 6 core will satisfy my needs. Just not sure if its overkill thanks for any advice on my purchase.
