I'm trying to create a form which needs a field to show a result of multiplying two other fields.
I don't know how to do that .... I just installed the program yesterday.
I tried to open this form in my adobe acrobat reader to work on it there because I know I can create those fileds in there but this was no good either because (I don't know why) it is secured and it's not possible to change anything...
Can anyboby help me with that?
Thanks a lot in advance !
You can add calculations to PDF forms. You mentioned Reader, but you'll need Acrobat to make the necessary changes. Before you can make any changes to a PDF form that has been enabled for use with FormsCentral, you'll have to open the form in Acrobat, select "File > Save a Copy", and then open the new file (it won't be automatically opened in Acrobat), and then add your calculations. Once you're done, you will need to re-enable the form. More information is available here: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3661
If you need help setting up the calculations in Acrobat, you should post in in the Acrobat Forms forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat/forms?view=discussions
George, that was perfect! Thank you very much!!!!
That was all - "Save a copy" and open it... things are so easy if you know how it works!
