I am Windows so did not bookmark the message, but at least one message thread has a possible solution for SOME mavericks problems
Try creating a new 7.1 project and see if the clip works there. If it does. import the 7.0.1 project into the 7.1 project.
Thanks, John. I've been on Mavericks since it came out with no issues. My issues started today, after installing the PP CC 7.1 patch.
Hi Steven, I tried that, too. Brought a clip into a brand new project in 7.1 and got the same error, "unsupported compression type". Some footage from the FS700 is being read and some shows the red screen (Media Offline) and results in the error (unsupported compression). I cannot pick up on any patterns of which footage works and which doesn't. I've considered dates and frame rates.
The unsupported compression type issue has been resolved. I uninstalled and then re-installed CC; then, re-linked the media and it works.
