Hi, thank you for your response, gener7. That is the first thing I tried; it is also my first screenshot. But I don't seem to be able to delete the pattern there: I can only load the pattern through the Wheel (not through Load ... since it's nowhere in my computer) and then I can delete each individual 'texture.' But the preset pattern continues to exist. Does this make sense?
Ok, my misunderstanding. When you say you load through the "Wheel", what do you mean? I never heard of that program or function.
Ok, I think you are talking about the "gear icon." at the top. Let me look around.

Ok, custom patterns are not stored in the Application/Photoshop CS6 folder.
They are instead stored in Application Support.
So look under:
<your user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Patterns folder and see if it's there.
When you do delete it, restart Photoshop and it should no longer be in the list.
Yes, that's right, Gene: I meant the "Gear Icon." Sorry!
I do not have a Presets folder within <your user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6 All I can see are two folders: AMT_Core and patcher_trigger. What shall I do? Am I missing something?
In case, it was hidden, I have made all files visible on my Mac. But, there is still no Presets folder to be seen: only those two I just mentioned.
I have searched for "Presets" within <your user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ but no folder shows up: only files and none of them are .pat.
Thank you again for your responses!
Hi Sergio. I should have explained it was the Library folder in your user directory, not the Library folder at the root of the Hard Drive.
Not this folder:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/
But this folder:
/Users/<name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Patterns
Or in the Finder menu: Go > Go to Folder... and copy/paste this path into the box:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Presets/Patterns
The tilde (~) is short for your user directory.
Hope that gets it for you
Ah, yes!!! That worked.
Thank you so much for your help, Gene; very much appreciated!
