SWFLoader causes ie and firefox to crash

I am using SWFLoader to play and .swf movie in my flex app. Sometimes it works, but many times in causes the browser to crash. This happens on many pcs in the office. In my application event viewer I have captured the failure output. Has anyone else seen similar problems? It seems to be a timing issue for the problem to occur. It seems flash player will cause the browser to crash when the timing of the bytes coming back for the swf movie come back at the "right time", but we cannot consistenly reproduce. Any advice would be helpful. The video is a swf and playing within a window created by the mx.managers.PopUpManager class.
