First try updating to 8.0.2 which is the latest version of CS6.
I have the same problem.
Indesign CC v 9.2.1 MacOS 10.9.2
I created a new document from scratch a few days ago.
Trying to select all and copy from a page to paste into another page.
When I leave out text frames all goes well.
When text frames are copied in the process Indesign freezes (showing spinning multi colored disk) instantly after the copy command.
Probably a font problem, but post your crash report on Pastebin.com (NOT HERE) and give us a link to it.
Thanks for your reply. Sounds plausible. Even more so because the problem does not occur on my colleagues computer.
I tried to paste the crashreport on Pastebin but unfortunately it exceeds the 500Kb limit.
Any alternative (instead of pasting it here )?
If it is a font problem, what can I do about it?
You have a crash report larger than 500kb? Haven't heard that before.
Find the thread that's crashed, and put that, along with the header information, in a post here if necessary.
Try uninstalling any non-system fonts you used in the document and see if you can work with it with missing fonts. You should also run a font utility to check for damaged fonts.
Have you Copied app installed? When I quit Copied app indesign don't crashes anymore.
