I'm trying to create a form for a trade show using InDesign that works like a shopping cart that you would see online. As such, I need to create fields that are affected by choices made in other fields. For example, if my first field is built to give a shopper the option of selecting a group of options, let's say, "A, B, C, D." I would like the next field's choices, say, "a, b, c, d, e, f, g" to be affected by that choice. So if the customer were to choose option "A" in the first field then the next field would only list a few of the avaliable choices, such as, "b, d, e, g". Whereas, if the customer selects "B" in the first field then the next field would display different choices, like, "a, c".
Is this even possible?
It's possible (but tricky to implement) to create buttons which show elements with Show/Hide fields. So those options could be hidden until clicking a particular button choice.
You might do a Google search on "show hide button InDesign" to get some ideas.
