Video Cue Points is deprecated with Flash Professional CC.
I do believe sir, the term “deprecated” is quite an understatement at this point, a statement which has already been quite effectively proven given the attached screenshots. I do appreciate your response however.
Given the fact that we’ve determined that our beloved FLV Playback CUE POINTS are now deprecated, perhaps it would be wise to establish the basis around our aforementioned affliction as to why, in our great Lord’s name, why this decision was made and hitherto determine if this decision was based on solid evidential fact and experience to remove this feature, or perhaps is based upon either the dereliction of one’s duty as a programmer who may have unintentionally left it out or we are, once again, being trounced upon by a vicious, malicious bug in the software my good man.
What is your answer? We need to know why this feature was removed. It makes no sense to take it away. We have to use Actionscritp to add cue points to Videos now?
Or, is Adobe requiring us to have CS6 installed as well?
Our workflow requires us to see video at cuepoints as we add time triggered elements over video. So we are using CS6.
Would love to have an extension for CC that allowed us to click on a cuepoint and see the video at that point, as we have been doing ever since the FLVPlayback component first appeared.
Sorry for Up this old thread but this is exactly my problem and I dont find any solution..
Is there any workaround for this ? exept going back to CS6.
I just need to creat an action at the end of some .mov in h264.
Thank you, I will look in to that.
It's speaking about FLV file, but FLV is impossible to create because of the deprecated format.
Doest it work with .mov / mp4 h264 too ?
