What has changed since then... did you install anything new, including any Win updates?
What does the error message say?
What is your nVidia driver version?
Right click in any open area of the Windows desktop
Select NVIDIA Control Panel from the popup window
Select SYSTEM INFORMATION at the lower left corner
Driver version should be the 1st line in Details
I have a GTX285 using driver 296.10 and Win7
Have you tried a newer (or older) nVidia driver?

Thank you for the reply, John. I should have mentioned that I updated the NVIDIA driver but the problem did not go away. The driver version I now have is 331.65, which is confirmed to be the latest by their website.
If I can't find another solution, I may try going back to an older version to see if that helps.
