I am planning to lay out a book in InDesign (200+ pages) for print production, and I would also like to export the same file as an Interactive PDF and epub. However, the document has disproportionately large inner margins for the print binding, and exporting to PDF (as Pages) always leaves me with text that is slightly offset toward the left or right on odd and even pages.
Is there a simple way to alter the margins for an Interactive PDF (or simply trim off part of the inner margin during export) without having to manually fix every text and photo frame in my document?
If you're using master pages (as you should for such a book), you can change the margins for your master pages. Choose Layout > Margins and Columns.
