What is the Core Program??

When I try to install the flash player I get a pop up window that tells me to close the Core program but I don't know what that means.

The above may not work if that 'Core' program is part of your startup list.

Open Task Manager, tab Processes, then terminate that 'Core' program.

Download the following file by right clicking and selecting "Save target as"

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Save the file to your Downloads folder - DO NOT RUN it yet.

Reboot your system.

BEFORE opening anything else, go to your Downloads folder and run the ActiveX Installer.

Thank you Pat I have been trying to get some help with this for awhile. I was able to find out what Core Program they were referring to and I closed it. I was able to install the flash player. I appreciate you very much.
