    Simple GREP help anyone..?

    Spenno Level 1

Hi there. I wonder if someone can help with this GREP query? I currently have lots of text written in lowercase and wanted a GREP to make each new word begin with a capital letter. The following GREP seems to be performing this nicely -

      \b\l

... but with one exception. I'm not sure why letters immediately following an apostrophe are classed as new words (?!), but examples I'm getting are 'Dad'S' instead of 'Dad's', 'There'Ll' instead of 'There'll', and so on.

Please can anyone explain what I can add to my GREP to make it exclude apostrophes, or not apply the uppercase rule to the character immediately following them?

      Many thanks.
