1. Re: Flash Toolkit for Createjs html-content... problems building folio?
Lohrii Alo Nov 7, 2013 9:15 PM (in response to lars_groenvad)Flash animations are not supported on DPS(for that matter iOS). Even if you manage to upload, it won't work. Was the flash animations converted to html? this should work but make sure to test your html animation vigorously.
Spinning wheel at upload - Is your .html in a root folder where there are many other files along with it? If so, it could be uploading everything in the root folder hence the spinning wheel

2. Re: Flash Toolkit for Createjs html-content... problems building folio?
lars_groenvad Nov 8, 2013 4:10 AM (in response to Lohrii Alo)No, my files are .fla stuff converted to html5 canvas/javascipt with the Toolkit for CreatJS in Flash Professional 6 / Flash CC. It has worked for me before, that's what confuses me. Am I the only one having these kind of problems?
I have reduced the filestructure/root folder to a minimum, so the files are really light. I have also tried on different computers – but stil same result.

3. Re: Flash Toolkit for Createjs html-content... problems building folio?
lars_groenvad Nov 10, 2013 1:21 PM (in response to lars_groenvad)If anyone has interest in this, I found a strange solution. After digging the web came across a similar problem with som html5/javascript Edge Animate Content, which also stalled on upload and never resulted in an article being added to the Folio. The workaround goes like this:
1) add your html5 based content as an imported article..
2) wait for a while... nothing happens, except for a not-moving status bar and a spinning wheel
3) Go to the InDesign menu (Mac) in InDesign and chose "Quit InDesign"...
4) Don't confirm anything... (InDesign warns you that its busy processing an article and asks if you really want to quit: yes or no?). Just wait, and... wow... watch the status bar progress rapidly and your article is compiled and uploaded
5) your article is now uploaded and ready to download and play on your iPad
6) Click the "no" -button in InDesign and continue your work
New to me.. and really weird?

4. Re: Flash Toolkit for Createjs html-content... problems building folio?
Brice Hall May 25, 2014 12:12 PM (in response to lars_groenvad)Thanks for posting this. I've recently begun learning to make canvas content in Flash with CreateJS and came across the same problem. The folios aren't uploading properly when I try to add them as the progress bar hangs. I tried your method and sure enough the progress bar initiated the rest of upload at the quit menu. However, the file remains inaccessible inside the folio menu and the folio in viewer refuses to update, giving me an Error During Download message. A strange problem indeed.
