In a Flash/Flex application, it is possible that the mouse
pointer goes out of the application window in a specific state and
then comes in in a different state. For example, it is down when
going out and it is uyp when re entering. No MOUSE.UP event is fire
in that case. How can we know that the button is up ?
I'm having the exact same issue. When the user clicks down
and drag the landscape scrolls, (on a timer) should he move his
mouse outside the window the scrolling continues, which is nice.
But if you then release, Actionscript does not know that the mouse
has been released and the scrolling continues..
Windows programming has a "Mouse Capture" facility to deal
with issues like this. What is the method for flash?
