Thank you SO much !!!!
2 more questions:
- I have a text box that comes in and out in the first second, that I won't be needing after the first second.
Right now it's just outside the Stage, but the more I work on the timeline, it gets clustered and it's hard to organize.
How do I delete it on the timeline, after the first second?
- I now feel that 550x400 is too small. If I want to resize, is there a way I can proportionally make everything larger?
instead of just making the Stage bigger?
Thanks so much.
There are several ways you could do that depending on the structure of your animation.
- You could use hide(); in code with:
- You could turn the display off at 1000 ml - Just select your element or symbol and choose display off. In the second image below, the text element has display off at 0 and display on at 0.01.
My recommendation is that you use symbols when you can and then manipulate them as needed.
As far as resizing is concerned it depends what you really want to do. You could resize your stage and resize your items. You could add code for your elements to resize according to the browser's size.
