csuebele Nov 11, 2013 7:27 AM (in response to StrongBeaver)I believe a Wacom tablet with the art pen stylus will do this.

john worthington Nov 11, 2013 10:25 AM (in response to StrongBeaver)What type of additional control are you looking for when warping?

eclic Nov 12, 2013 7:15 PM (in response to john worthington)We need more control points/lines for warping in free transform. Puppet warp is a very flawed tool so its not a solution. I'd like to be able to set the number of grid lines in warp to get a more refined control over what I'm warping.

StrongBeaver Nov 12, 2013 7:40 PM (in response to eclic)The problem is, most of us are very familiar if not experts at Photoshop. We mostly resort to Ps when doing any work because, we can move around the program fast and effectively, while at the same time getting the Job done. PhotoLine and others are great programs, when you want to do A, then B then E and the alternative is taking time away, you may move over to Ps to complete the task.
There are many things Adobe needs to add to Ps for it to excel, for every new .5 release of Ps CC there should be a major shift for example 85% of all filters work in 32-bit mode, not a select few. I understand that Adobe has some promotions, I don't think they go far enough. If Adobe would say to fellow Ps 5 & 6 users you can get a two year subscription for $65-$70, I think despite some angst many would subscribe. I would subscribe to PsCC if I could get a two year subscription for that price !

csuebele Nov 12, 2013 8:03 PM (in response to john worthington)I too would love to see freeze points and better control points in the normal warp. I've been asking for this for years. Puppet warp is a nice feature, but it could be much better: mainly it seems to bend to sharply, whereas the normal warp is much smoother.

eclic Nov 13, 2013 8:43 AM (in response to csuebele)Yes - puppet warp is definetly not a good tool for precise warping, it butchers images.
We need more control over warping, adding more control points would help. I'd really like the addition of Bezier curves to control warping points so you can get a smooth warp.
I've posted about it on the feedback site but haven't heard a word from anyone at Adobe unfortunately:
