I know that InDesign isn't very good at footnotes, still i hope that someone knows a solution to this:
I'm writing on my thesis and I do have a main text frame and a few side text frames for remarks and captions. I have lots of citations, on all of the text frames, which results in footnotes all over the place, as footnotes are being created at the bottom of each text frame.
But I'd like to have all the footnotes together at the bottom ("foot") of the page.
On the left page of the picture you can see what InDesign creates, on the right page of the picture you can see what I'd like to have:
Does anybody know how to achieve this?
Anybody knows a solution to that?
Peter Kahrel has some scripts on his website. One of them might get you started.
Thanks for the hint!
I'll have a look at them!
