I have noticed that when i copy an image in and indesign document page, it pastes the image at a slightly lighter opacity, has anyone had the same issue and know how to cure it.Screen Shot 2013-11-11 at 14.29.26.png

I don't think it's opacity. Looks rather like saturation.

This might be due to color conversion, depending on the colour profile, colour format and, very important, transparency setting.

Try different settings to find out what comes closest to the original display.

The image looks like it is RGB (and has out-of-gamut color). With the image selected the Links panel will tell you its color space.

If the page you are pasting into has any transparent object, and its Transparency Blend space is CMYK then a pasted RGB object's preview will be displayed in gamut via the document's CMYK profile.

Also, RGB objects will display as CMYK if the page has no transparency, but Overprint or Separation preview is turned on.
