Flash Player installer loads a *.bat file in my IDE

Recent Flash Player installers are doing something weird (or weirder than usual). Once the set-up is done, it launches my IDE and loads a *.bat file called install_flashplayer11x32au_mssd_aaa_aih.bat:

      set attempt=Z
      :Repeat
      del "%ModuleFileName%"
      if exist "%ModuleFileName%" goto Retry
      goto Exit
      :Retry
if %attempt% == ZZZ goto Exit
      %Sleep%
      set attempt=%attempt%Z
      goto Repeat
      :Exit
      del "%SelfFileName%"

I don't really know how it decides to use Komodo IDE and not NetBeans or some other editors I have but... what's the whole purpose of this? Am I supposed to review the code and run it myself?

      I'm using Windows 7.
