I have a question.
I have a template that has 9 scenes in it. I want to stretch it and add 3 more, but not new stuff completely. I want to duplicate a scene, no problem, ctrl+d or file menu. But it has embedded comps, so if I just duplicate the scene it's going to still use the same embedded comps.
is there a simple way to duplicate an entire comp and automatically duplicate the comps inside it or do I need to manually duplicate everything? I can do that, but it's a lot of work becauase there is a lot of nested content,
My goodness. Ask and ye shall receieve, that is fantastic and PERFECT. I was concerned about the expressions but this handles it and updates the expressions as well.
holy moly how perfect is that for a solution?
This works in just about any version of AE:
You’ll find your duplicate Comps with usage maintained inside the folder with the same name as your current project.
If your Project panel is well organized, removing anything that you don’t need a duplicate of is fairly quick and easy.
